I think it was John Prosper who posted that the LCDs would mostly like be
the first thing to fail on our late model electronic OM bodies, leaving a
functioning but viewless interface, while the OM-1(x)'s, OM-2's and OM-2N
will rock on.
What about the photocells in those cameras? I've got an OM-1 at Camtech
right now with a non-linear meter. I've heard one explanation for this
phenomenon is that the photocells just wear out. If so, are these easy to
replace? Are there key differences between the OM-1(x)'s and OM-2 and
OM-2N in this regard?
