I've been enjoying and admiring my new Tokina 300/2.8.The lens is a
monster, but is the bees knees in low light. Focussing is a snap, as
well, as the lens feels lightning fast in both focus and aperture.
The weight of this baby will keep me more or less tripod or monopod
for a while, though. I have new admiration for the guys I see
shooting handheld with 300/2.8s and wonderbricks - those guys must
spend all their spare time at the gym!
At any rate, I've been looking around for a matched 1.4x adaptor.
Anyone familiar with one for Tokina?
On a similar note, anyone know where I can find a metal screw-on lens
cap in 117mm size? I think I'll just forego the polarizer shots on
this lens.
