I have ordered a handful of tools from Canada (orders of less than
$200), and have both bought and sold lenses to private individuals in
Canada. I've never had to pay any duties. However, it'd sure pay to
clear that PRIOR to shipping. I sent a harmonica to a German
customizer, and was surprised by a 25urcharge (which apparently
will be refunded when he ships it back to me).
