I used it once when I was taking frame-filling shots of yachts in some
harbour in Australia.... the boats were white (as usual ) . ....... I took
shots of the anchor and the fancy names of the yachts........ I used the
hi-light button to achieve pure white ...... slides were Fujichrome
100....... hence the need to expose accurately.......
Conversely,, do the same if U need pure blacks.....
If U have snow where U come from, then the hi-lite button becomes very ,
very handy and fast.............
Other than these, I normally use 2 to 3 spots ( more than enough, instead of
8 allowed) whenever I shoot....... I apply the zone system theory when I do
this........ its very accurate...... do this with slides and compare against
your prints... you will see what I mean .......
I love the OM-4Ti........... A very efficient tool in the PROCESS of making
a photograph .....
Peace
