Where do you live, Volkhart ? One strategy that worked well for me
was to place ads at the bulletin boards at various colleges nearby
that have photography classes.
*= Doris Fang =*
In search of the DFGSS...
My last find was an early Nikon F w/50/2.0 in 9+ condition for $25.
A yuppie was selling his father's camera " because it is so heavy ".
He said his dad ran two or three rolls a year through it between
vacations and birthdays, so it probably has around 100 rolls through it.
Barely broken in. :-) The knurling on the lens is still perfectly black.
I also found 2 projectors for $10 & 15, a Minolta 16mm (black) for $12,
4 complete darkroom kits between $30-75 each, and one 4x5 enlarger
LN for $50. Dozens of photo books. Nothing OM, though, save for a few
autofocus cameras. I passed on (to friends) everything except the F.
