Thanks to all who replied to my questions.
No, I didn't have any film in either camera. That explains that question,
but I'm still
having trouble with the flash problem on my OM-2. So, I'll explain it again,
and
hopefully a little better this time:
I am using both the T20 and a Honeywell Auto Strobonar 110A. Both will come
to a
full charge off the camera (little orange light), but they don't charge when
on the FIX
shoe. If I listen, it seems as though they start to recycle as the pitch (?)
increases,
but they seem to get hung up. I also have a cord which plugs into the side
of the
OM-2 near the mount (sorry, I don't know the names) and goes to the Honeywell
flash. It won't reach full charge in this setup either. I know, it sounds
like an internal
problem. Does that mean I need to send it off? Also, it there a problem with
the FIX
shoe on an OM-2 (it's the old OM-2 w/ center weighted metering)? If it is
okay, how
come the camera looks like this (top view w/out hot shoe)?:
O as opposed to my OM-2n: O
' ' '
The "O" is where the shoe screws in and the " ' " is the hole for the pins
protruding
from the shoe. Again, the FIX shoe has no pin, other than the screw to
attach to the
mount, protruding from the bottom.
thanks again everybody
