You may be right. But I'd like to understand the design issues regarding
CCD cameras vs. 35mm film.

Skip, isn't it possible that both are true? ie that Olympus doesn't think
it would be profitable to make a digital camera, as Nikon and Canon have,
that is based on a bandaid applied to current lenses that were not properly
designed for such use?
