I agree. I meant to also say that I thought there were other lens design
factors affecting bokeh but didn't get around to it. You are right about
wide open performance - something else I was going to mention but it was
getting late.
Interestingly, I have a Japanese OM system chart and it has a table of
lens data and there is a specific column listing how many diaphragm blades
each Zuiko has.
I don't think Olympus would bother listing this information specifically if
they did not consider it of relevance. Perhaps this issue is better
appreciated in the Japanese market.
