When I got my 180/2.8, it had several large specks inside. I got it for a very
good price so I din'y mind spending some for a CLA.
The technician told me that one of the specks was a bug and some of the others
were bug feces (I know, an indelicate subject ;-) all on an inside element..
So, it happens.
