Yup, with a meter tester. Some instruments combine the two, but they
start at $6,000 (see the C.R.I.S. WWW site, for instance). Nice thing
about dragging a hand-held meter or two to a shop and checking them is
they become your standards for comparison. I have a old Sekonic spot
meter that looks like a 110 Instamatic camera. It is dead on across the
range of EV's. Now I check everything against it.
