This is the predecessor of the 50/1.2 standard lens.
The lens is neither common nor rare.
AFAIK the 55/1.2 came only single coated, because it was discontinued
before multi-coating started.
The lens quality is reasonably good, but I would always prefer the
slower but multi coated 50mm lenses if quality is important and light
conditions don't make use of the fast lens necessary. The 50/1.2 is
definitely better, too.
The price is low, in particular for a near mint boxed lens.
Summary: Buy it.
