To:
Chris, who first came with the idea,
and Marc, Wiliam, Volkhart who already showed interest...
and Hans, Olaf, Frank W., Ab, who certainly will do so later...
and all other list members living in or near the Benelux or planning a
visit...
The original idea, from Chris Barker, was to meet later this year,
after his moving house in August.
I am afraid it was me who started mentioning 'the autumn', having in
mind somewhere between Sep 1 and Nov 30.
I agree that reserving a date might be sensible.
How about:
time - the weekend of October 7/8?
place - somewhere between Liège, Aachen and Maastricht?
Maastricht-Aachen Airport is nearby, and there are good train
connections to each of the three mentioned cities. There are many
motorways to and in that area as well.
Please let us know if you can make it on this day(s), or if you have
reason to think that another date might be better.
BTW: I have chosen this particular weekend, because one week later the
autumn holidays will start in Holland (covering 3 consecutive
weekends), and consequently it will be busy in Zuid-Limburg. Prices of
accomodation (if needed) will be higher too. But november could also
be a good choice.

We can of course fill in the details later
