I also celebrated when I first used my Bogen 3021, could look straight into
the viewfinder and finally could quit stooping over most of the time!
BTW, I check vertical man-made objects against the sides of the viewfinder,
and the horizon against the bottom (or top) since I don't have/use a grid
screen. Even after the tripod legs and pan head are supposedly leveled.
It has saved me more than once.
