Yet pros have flocked to the N90s and the F-100. Part of it
is due to the mammoth prices of the F5. Or its portliness,
which makes it unusable for people who want/need to travel
light (or those with small hands). If they wanted to draw a line of
demarcation, they should have drawn it with the synch speed. Canon's
designers wisely made the EOS-1/1n with the smaller battery pack, and
the high-speed one as an add-on, so the camera can be configured
easily according to need.
Modularity is one of the things I like about the OMs, the ability
to detach the winder, and have a very compact, lightweight body
and lenses.
