That's certainly a legitimate way. I would propose that you consider
another. Buy ONE 500-600ws monolight, which can be had for much less than
$500. And a umbrella/softbox. And a large sheet of white foamcore to use as
a reflector. You'd be amazed what you can do with a single light with a
reflector as a fill light. One thing really good about monolites over the
283/T32 thing is they come with modeling lights.
