Hi,
Recently I bought the Zuiko 80 mm F4 1:1 macro + close up lens
+ 65 - 116 mm tube, and "played" with it last weekend.
With a normal focussing screen (1-4 or 1-13) the viewfinder is very
dark. So why not give the 1-6, all clear with microprism's, a try?
The result surprised me: excellent bright viewfinder, black microprism's
and, now comes the surprise, easy focussing on the clear area!
Normally it is not very reliable to focus on the clear area, but the minimal
depth of field seems to help a lot in this case. I have not spent a
roll of film on it yet to find out if the focus is really correct.
So my question is: did any of you tried this combination and was the
focus correct?
Bye.
