front element that has quite a bit of rubbed off, or scratched coating. the
photos are wonderful, but the lens seems prone to flaring... much more so
than the other MC zuiko wide angles i have.
so my questions are:
1) is this lens normally a flare prone lens?
2) should i just find a good hood for it?
3) or for the $40.00 i've heard, should i just replace the front element?
like i said, the lens takes great photos, but the flare is bothersome. and
as i shoot into the sun quite a bit............
any suggestions?
thanks, james. >>
Without question--do both! You can probably pick up the OM 49mm 28mm hood
for some $10 or so. No such thing as too little flare! Or is there?
