I checked Photodo and searched AltaVista before I put the question in the
group.
Photodo did test the lens alright (it gets a 3.6, just as much as the 400/4;
the
300/2.8 gets 3.8). But the morons forgot to put in the data I was searching
for.
Also checked Cult Classic Third Party Lenses; they just mention the lens but
no
data available either. So I'm still looking...

I've seen another site where the Tamron 180 gets a 3.8 (supposedly based on
the same Scandinavian testing methodology of PHOTODO) and the Angineux
180F2.3 APO is rated at a 3.2!
