Have any of you guys considered laser correction? Several of my friends have
had the procedure and are very happy with the results. (laser keratotomy)

Subject: RE: [OM] contact lenses instead of glasses??
Dirk: I've been wearing contacts for the past 10 years. I'm nearsighted
(can't see far). Using my OM4Ti is a joy when I'm wearing them. However,
with age, I now need to wear reading glasses. When I'm wearing my contacts,
I can't read the settings on the camera so that means I've got to reach for
my reading glasses, make camera adjustments then take them off, put them
someplace so they don't get damaged; it becomes very maddening. I've tried
using eyeglass straps but found that to be a nuisance. I've now resorted to
using the built in diopter on the Ti without wearing my contacts. But here
again, I'm faced with removing my progressive glasses and placing them down
somewhere. It's extremely maddening if your trying to shoot some fast
action stuff. Getting old is frustrating!

What is the group's experince with them vs. eye glasses in terms of
being able to take pictures, etc? I had them once before a long time
ago, but my eyes tended towards dryness, which was a problem.
Be seeing you.
