Dear Olafo.....
Yes indeed, Oly is infamous for their lousy chrome or black paint jobs......
they come off all too easy....... I got so mad, I actually sent mine to the
agent and had the top Ti champagne cover replaced (the paint came off
around where the 'OM-4Ti' was...... due to excessive use ? ) But underneath
it, the real Ti sheen was really really beautiful...... that was the real
colour of Ti...... something similar to the Leica M Ti...... really
beautiful...... OLY should have simply done a naked Ti finish for their
Panda models.
...... which leads me to ask how does one touch up on flaking black paint on
an OM body ?
Peace
TMLee

>Well, the "champagne" paint adheres equally poorly to the titanium bodies

>They're just sooooo much more sexy looking!!! ;)
>Yes, it's very much a taste thing: one person prefers the champage finish,

>Ah yes, to further add to that: Champagne and Chrome are the same ones,
>these words are just used interchangably...

>Cheerio!
