Looks like it's Minolta: Us Patent #4,351,564, issued 9/1982
Abstract:
"A flash photography system adapted for the combination of an
electronic flash device and a photographic camera with an
electronically controlled shutter which, as in the case of two-curtain
type focal plane shutters, effects film exposure with a slit scanning
or sweeping over the film suface. To enable full film exposure of a
scene being illuminated by the flash light, the electronic flash tube
is controlled to emit light at a constant light intensity for a period
sufficient enough to cover the time during which the shutter slit
completes its travel. The flash light emission is initiated in
synchronization with the actuation of the shutter, ie, the commencement
of the scanning or sweeping of the shutter slit. The flash light may be
emitted prior to the shutter operation for determination of camera
diaphram aperture."
Be seeing you.
