I think it's OK, but have not had any experience with any other film scanner

Mine seems to have a "bug" in that sometimes I get a scan with 1 or 2
channels (of the RGB) missing, re-scan and it's OK. I have loaded the
latest version of the "Scan Wizard" software, but that does not fix the
problem.

I don't know what the density range is that it handles - but it's not as
good as I would like. Don't expect much useable detail in deep shadow areas
for example.

Yes, I believe the software is exactly the same.

You can also have a look at my site (see my sig), all images other than the
"random series" were scanned with the 35t+. The random series are Kodak
"FlashPix" scans.
