FWIW, I had a "shazam" yesterday on the train going home during rush
hour. My dream OM5 appeared before me in a haze of fatigue and flu
virus......
"It's the shutter, dummy."
yeah, my OM5 would have a vertical travel metal bladed shutter that
syncs at 1/250, but with the traditional "ring around the lens mount"
shutter speed dial.
It would be all manual, but with a spot meter, and viewfinder shutter
speed and lens aperture display.
It would take all of the standard OM system accessories.
It would cost under a thousand dollars.
It would *not* have titanium body covers.
It could even be partly polycarbonate.
