I've had good luck with Provia 400 for daytime sports. Sharper than
Superia 400, and very natural colors.
But I'll grant you that when the necessary ASA goes above 100, I'm
reaching for negative films as often as not, because in difficult
lighting I want that extra latitude. And I've been VERY happy with
Fuji's CZ800 for sports, concerts, and indoor action shots.
