When I originally made the comment that "CDs will be history in 10 years" I
may have been unclear, and I apologize. Many of you interpreted my comment as
meaning the CDs themselves will be old and unable to be read by the player.
That is not what I meant. I've been hearing a lot about *whatever* will be
the new format ( a new type disk is my guess ) will render the current CD as
obsolete 10 years from now, much like the death of 8-tracks and currently the
"dying" of audio cassette tapes.
