Calm down. Lars wouldn't do that -- for one thing, he's way too smart to
spread a worm around and not hide his identity. Happy99.exe simply spreads
itself without the origin's knowledge, usually using Microsoft mail software to
do so.
On my machine, I d/l'ed it using Eudora Pro, noticed it as an attachment,
shrugged, and nuked it. No problems. Had I had McAfee VirusScan turned on, it
would've caught it and nuked it automatically.
In either case, if Lars is using Microsoft mail s/w, he should probably update
(or install) a virus checker. Of course, my recommended course of action is
ALWAYS to use another e-mail software. ;-)
