Gary Reese commented a while back about the variance in reflectance in
different film brands. I don't recall if there was one film that was
exactly correct for the exposure system of the OM2n? In other words, is
there a film that has "perfect" reflectance that would give exact
exposures in this camera in auto mode?
Be seeing you.

I am not 100ure, but I believe that no conclusive results were drawn. I
remember a few people tested a couple of different types of film, kodak gold
etc and thought they were pretty close to 180rey. i tested Fuji reala and
it was within 1/3 stop of my grey card. I can't speak for other films. i
would assume that the guys at oly must be at least pretty clever and would
have taken this into account when they designed the metering system. It'd
be a safe bet that most if not al films work perfectly in auto mode,
otherwise there'd be a zillion oly users with shitty photo's wouldn't there?
