I bought an Eyecup 2 years ago for the outrageous sum of $22. I was
looking for an Eyecup 1, but they had been discontinued at that point. Boy
what a waste of $22!! I put the thing away in a dark corner and I've never
seen it again. And I picked up two used Eyecup 1's last year for $5 ea.
which I use often, especially with my OM-1 and OM-2n.
Don't bother with an Eyecup 2 unless you don't care if light gets in from
the side.

No. But Eyecup 2 is almost useless in reducing flare caused by side-lighting.
