No wonder eBay prices can go so high. Some of the bidders are just in it
for a lark!
Think of it as two people getting seriously carried away (it takes two to force
a bid high). For instance the Pen F bellows which went for $350 a few days ago.
These are available for $50 from reputable dealers (then again maybe it was two
insane collectors battling it out for the box that went with this one).
Personally I'd rather use a OM/Pen adaptor and an OM bellows.
Meanwhile, all those $50 asking prices probably just got marked up.
If you must do the ebay thing (I certainly can't seem to resist), do a web
search, check KEH and Olympus Guy and Paul Farrar's compilation of Shutterbug
prices, then remember that you don't really have to have "this one". Some
things may take a long time to come around but they do seem to. (He said
chortling over his "stash" - some of which appeared only after months of
waiting).
