Maybe I (or someone else) already posted this, but "Manuale Olympus" by
Giulio Forti (1977) has a 50mm f/2 F.Zuiko. It is of pancake proportions and
the photo shows serial number 100001. Specs are [translated from Italian]:
6 elements in 5 groups
f/16 minimum aperture
minimal focusing distance 65 cm (39 x 26 cm frame)
140 grams
21mm long
59mm diameter
49mm filter size.
It appears that it was a prototype to the 40mm f/2, having a aperture ring
exterior to the front of the lens. It is discussed in the text on page 104,
but it is too much effort to translate that.
Exciting fodder for Zuikoholics? :-)
