Curious, but do the members here take such meticulous care for scans even
for webpage display at mediocre resolutions in the interests of reasonable
downloads (around 50kb normally, ) for JPGs sized roughly 640x480?
Sounds to me like an rather long sequence of effort for little gain. I
would understand larger (pixel size) scans at better quality (little
compressing). Any opinions?
I've spent a lot of time at J. Lind's and Olaf's sites, and having been
impressed with the quality scans, I ask: is the way you went about it? All
ideas from others also welcome.
Thanks,
/Acer V
