Pretty simple:
- slide on viewfinder
- rotate varimagni to comfortable angle to view at
- unfocus camera lens
- flip to 2.5 magnifation for accurate focus, 1.2 for full-frame.
- focus varimagni so lines, dust, etc. on screen is sharp
- focus lens on subject
- enjoy
