There's a photo been submitted by a new entrant to the Oly Gallery, a picture
of a rose in full bloom taken with the C-2000. When I first saw it, I couldn't
believe it was digital. Nice pic. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to put the
new submissions up this weekend (four out of seven submitters done so far...).

I wouldn't sweat it. Advances in silver chemistry keep making 35mm film more
and more attractive as a medium, at least to me. Digital's fun, but digital
and film will live together for many years (probably many decades) before film
is superseded.
