Other manuals (eg I have an OM2N manual like this) are also incremental and
will cover differences between the
models both mechanical and electrical. Typically they are still pretty useful
as they will have complete
exploded views and disassembly sequence etc. You just need to be aware that
this is common.
I spoke to the service dept recently and the first person I spoke to did not
know that the manuals were incremental for the 4 and the 4Ti and the second
person did.
I am like Chip I have had some reasonable experiences with the service dept
in ordering spares, but it does depend on who you get. Ask for the person's
name and if you have a good experience ask for them next time.
