Wonderful shots Daan! Since you are presetting flash and aperture are
you also prefocusing and moving in our out until the subject shows in
focus? If not, what exactly is the technique for using a preset
exposure?

... I do not use any automatic (OTF) exposure, setting the flash to
manual and presetting the aperture is more reliable in my case. If you
do use OTF then you need to do a lot of exposure-corrections. Getting
things in focus is the hard part!
