If they are smart(a leap of faith) this list could
teach them much about customer service, and indicate
where they need improvement. Perhaps they have written

Well, let me tell you this. After meeting Susan Schaffer (Director of
Marketing - Imaging Products - Olympus America Inc.) at the PMA show in
Vegas, I supplied her (via the e-mail address on her business card) the URL's
for all the neat stuff we have produced on the OM System. I never got a
response of any sort back from her. Thus, I doubt anyone at Olympus America
even cares to see what is on the Internet regarding the OM System. It's not
just her lack of response that leads me to that conclusion - it's the lack of
response from others at Olympus America, too.
Thanks to all for letting me know my 135mm f/4.5 Macro hood fits the 90mm f/2
Macro. That would be another case of Olympus America not knowing. After
some person bid $41 for a "90mm f/2 Hood" on eBay, I decided to get my local
reseller to pick one up for me. Olympus America swore up and down that one
didn't exist. It's no wonder - no one knew to even put it on the price list!
Speaking of price list: Olympus didn't even have the updated Dealer Price
List prepared in time for PMA.
So, there is no one that could replaces these chumps? Hum, all that would be
required is to place a classified on this very List!!!
Just a reminder to folks that everything we post to the list gets indexed and
is searchable to anyone. If there is a specific instance of poor customer
service, tell it here and it will be imortalized. Same thing with good
service.
