Someone told me that Australia is the world's most expensive place in which
to buy music CDs.
Mind you, being from the UK it came as a surprise to learn recently that
850r more of Tony Blair's UK gas [petrol] prices now comprise taxes and
duties.
That's probably true, mot cd's are about $30. That's about US$19.50. The
aus govt claims it is protecting local artists whose CD's are more expensive
to make. What a heap of crap. Petrol is expensive in Korea too at US$1.50
per litre. They import most of their oil over here
