That's a prime reason to make sure the frame counter is set right on the
back of the MD2 when you load a roll. I have ripped film out of cartridges
too. Good luck with the lab.

A tripto the changing bag confirmed this. Now I just have to decide
if I trust the send out lab to actually read my instructions, and not
pop open the light tight film container the loose film is now sitting
in.
