I got the results of my "Lizard shoot" back today, and was pleasantly
suprised. The bracketing paid off, with the best results being at around
f5.6.
The one thing that was critical was focusing/background: I found that this
apperture gave enough depth of field for the Lizard (in profile ) or for
the head and fore-legs (face on) and the background was nicely out of
focus. Leaving the Tungsten lights on in the cage also worked well, giving
a warm effect, as though the pictures were taken on a summers evening.
The only reflections I got were in one print and they were of the writing
around the end of my 50mm 1.8...but at least they prove that it was taken
with an Oly!!!
...another satisfied customer...!
