Hi everybody!
I got my latest roll of pictures back today, C41 process. The first C41 in
many years.
It's useless to think a lot on the exposuring when shooting negs, I know
that, but the guy in the store assured me that their manual development
departement held high class, and that they had a good photographic
understanding and that I didn't have to worry about corrected images...
I'm not too happy with the result. For example, highlited spots in the image
that were supposed to be exposed just right were given no attention, instead
many of the images were middlegrey, resulting in heavy grain.
I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS.
I shoot with OM4Ti and OM2SP. To get the pictures the way I want them I'm
going to continue shoot mainly E6, which I have been doing the last couple
of years. I thought I'd try the C41, in order to be able to put my pictures
on the wall.
Now I have come to a point where I have so many pictures on E6, and I want
to publish them on the Internet, in catalogues etc.
I CANNOT AFFORD A NEW SCANNER. I have a Agfa SnapScan 600 today, but no
E6-module for it. It costs about $250.
====> SO TO MY QUESTION:
Does anybody have experience with such a module for a flat bead scanner?
Does it give good results and do I have to take the image out of the frame
when scanning? How does it work? Do you think I should go for the module?
Please advise!
Best regards
Tobias Andersson
