Would someone who has had significant experience with all three, care to
comment on the comparative image and handling charateristics of the 3 Olympus
long zooms:
1) 50-250F5.0
2) 65-200F4.0
3) 85-250F5.0

I knew that great minds would come to the same conclusion. I also
suspected that you and I went through the same steps in doubt and
decision before purchasing the lens.
I quite agree with your assessment, and merely add that the pictorial
quality of the slides it produces resembles that from the 100 mm, f/2.8
upon which I've commented before in this group. That is to say, the
images have almost an three-dimensional quality, and excellent sharpness
and contrast.
