Lars;

Here're the numbers for minimum focussing distance:

For the 35-80 it is     0.6 meter.

For the 35/2            0.3 meter
For the 50/1.8          0.45 meter
For the 85/2            0.85 meter


Incidentally, the comparative weights are:

35-80                   650 grams
_________________________________

35/2                    240 grams
50/1.8                  165 grams
85/2                    260 grams
_________________________________
Total                   665 grams

I'm surprised at this.
