In fact it´s not a lightweight tripod and some thing could have been
done in a more pleasing quality, but none of this is a mayor obstacle.

Which depends on the task.

I bet this wasn´t the main design aim, but it´s still good that you
don´t feelt handicaped by using it.
In many cases the Benbo is criticised because of his unusuall design and
the need to handle it different than an conventional tripod. By handling
it like an normal tripod, one might loose his nerves, but properly used
it is as fast as any tripod with the additional advantage of his
acrobatic capabilities.

Buying an tripod out of the cataloge is always a bad idea.
