Leave the 35mm f2 behind, and the tripod and take some faster film like Fuji
provia instead, or perhaps some Kodak E100VS and push it one stop. Isn't there
a
warm toned version of E100VS?, that might even be better given the increased
blue
cast at altitude. Perhaps even make up a string-pod as per Doris' tip of a
while
ago. It would be a lot lighter than a tripod and is good for at least a one
stop
slower shutter speed than just plain hand-held if memory serves me.
