I did- once. I sent a photo of a sunrise over a marsh with a bird soaring
near the sun which registered as a nice starburst (natural flare effect, no
filter) the whole scene had a pinkish/goldish misty/dreamy effect to it, but
yet it was sharply focused. I was (still am) very proud of that one, and
receive compliments from people who have seen it, as I have it (11X14)
hanging in my basement family room. Of course my feelings are very
subjective, as are the feelings of the mag's editors, but that month they
printed, (IMO) the usual junk- kids running in a yard, etc. N*K*n and EOS
stuff, of course! ( I received a letter from Herr Kepler stating how much he
liked the photo, BUT... they weren't going to use it ).
This, in and of itself proves nothing, I know, but, IMO it does add a little
credibility to my theory.
