This lens was reviewed 9/92 by Pop Photo. At 35mm it gave B+ or above results
at f5.6 through f11, at 70mm f5.6 through f16, and at 105mm f 5.6 through
f16. The sharpest aperture for any focal length tested was f 8. Of course
you might want to compare it to the Pop Photo test of the Zuiko 35-80 which
got at 35mm B+ results from f 2.8 through f11, at 50mm B+ or A from f 4
through f11(two A's) and at 80mm B+ or A from f 5.6 through f 16(with 3 A's)
I have both the Tamron and the Vivitar S1 35-85 and find that the Tamron is
sharper but the Vivitar has more contrast and 3D effect.
