Photos from the heights that these aircraft flew at would have been
amazing, I expect. However, I don't think that the pilot would have been
allowed to take a camera with him.
At the sites I worked, the detachment commander (usually a light
colonel, sometimes a bird) had a lot of discretion. They didn't allow
this on mission flights, but would often do it on non-classified test
flights.
