I agree with you Skip: it is not worth that amount of dosh.
However, I have enjoyed reading mine every so often since I received it
free with my first OM1 in 1979. It is a bit of history and it covers much
that the Lens Handbook does not. It talks about the 35-70/3.6 and
85-250/5 planned for 1978 since it has only the 75-150/4 in it.
The photos are of the age, taken by an enthusiast I would say. It is
translated from German I think and the language shows that - nicely written
with good grammar but more flowery than you might expect from a native
English speaker.
I would try to get it, but at a price that you haggle over 1-1 with
someone, not at an e-auction.
