If you don't see signs of stray matter on the blades of the aperture it
might be a sluggishness in the mount.  Giles recently (within the last
month) gave me some advice that helped me fix a 50mm f/1.4.  He was
quite descriptive in the details.  You should be able to find the info
by doing a search of the archives.
