I believe the Soligor is the same as the Vivitar 75-260. If it is, then it
should be the same as the Hoya 75-260. Got that?(;>) Gary Reese tested the
Hoya... Good lens.
Know nothing about the Tokina.

Subject: [OM] Tokina 100-300 f5.6, Soligor 75-260 f4.5
I just came across these two lenses [Tokina 100-300 f5.6, Soligor 75-260
f4.5] in a local pawn shop. Prices were $A165 (around $US100) each. The
Tokina 100-300f4.5 looked relatively new, was compact and lightweight.
The Soligor was big and old looking but in good condition with a nice
built in lens hood. Both lenses had rotating tripod mounts and were (of
course) OM mount.
I haven't been able to come up with anything on either lens in the list
archives or lens test sites, so I was wondering if anyone here could
give me any information. Anybody ever used one?
thanks in anticipation,
Dylan
